Channel Marketing Manager

Kabuto is looking for an energetic and motivated Channel Marketing Manager to thrive in a fast-paced, cutting-edge and technology-driven environment. You will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring marketing plans and lead-generation programs for Kabuto’s Partner Recruitment and Reseller Programs. This includes all aspects of direct marketing and awareness campaigns, partner seminars and events, promotions and follow-up on activities with partners. The Channel Marketing Manager will also work with the VAR Program team to define requirements. Continuously deliver ROI reporting metrics on all executed activities, marketing plans, manage lead flow and provide marketing reviews on a regular basis. 



  • Work closely with product marketing, channel sales, channel marketing and partners to develop strategic channel marketing plans that align with the corporate strategy and supports pipeline objectives
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to create awareness of Kabuto solutions, educate partners and increase pipeline against agreed metrics (includes trades shows, e-mail marketing, advertising, etc.)
  • Adapt and customize direct sales campaigns
  • Build and achieve ongoing relationships with partner marketing counterparts
  • Tactical execution of channel marketing programs and channel marketing campaigns including e-mail, local trade shows / events, direct mail, referral and advertising
  • Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI
  • Create, launch and manage a Market Development Fund or Co-Op Marketing Program for VARs
  • Align channel marketing communications strategies with brand strategies
  • Work closely with corporate marketing to ensure a balanced marketing effort
  • Work cross-functionally with other team members to deliver on company goals
  • Serve as internal channel advocate to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
  • Participation in industry events such as trade shows and seminars



  • 5+ years Channel Marketing Experience
  • Successful track record in developing and executing Channel Marketing Campaigns
  • Experience in generating and managing campaign analytics
  • B2B or Software Marketing experience preferred
  • Must be able to create and deliver strong presentations
  • Excellent customer service orientation via e-mail, phone and in person
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong initiative and creativity applied through technology
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

  • BA / BS or equivalent education and relevant experience
